TMS OnLine/OnSite 2013.5.5 System Administrator Guide
Use the General Settings screen to configure general TMS Control Panel options. The settings under the General Options section are not database specific, but the button under PM Generation Counters is database specific.
You are presented with the Browse For Folder popup box. Select the folder for Document Upload and click OK. This should be a shared folder on the local server. For example, c:\documentupload. You have the option to store your files in another location and access them by mapping a drive or setting up a file share. The name of the file share or UNC (Universal Naming Convention) for our example is \\server\documentupload.
Note: Specific security permissions must have been enabled for the folder, drive, or file share you are using. Follow the instructions about these permissions in the A Note About Permissions section if you have not already enabled these settings.
Note: If this field is left blank for any reason, TMS will automatically store uploaded files to this location: C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/FRSoft Document Upload. The Application Data folder is a hidden folder. To see this folder and gain access to the FRSoft Document Upload folder it contains, navigate to C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/, select Tools > Folder Options > View tab, and click the radio button for the Show hidden files and folders, under the Hidden files and folders section of the Advanced settings list.
